Good Old Logano

If you watched the South Point 400 from beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, yesterday you were probably as shocked as I was to see Joey Logano pull off an improbable win.

Not because the guy doesn’t have what it takes, because he clearly does, but because Christopher Bell is equally as skilled and he had the best car yesterday.

All it took was a ballsy call from Crew Chief Paul Wolfe to put Logano in victory lane. As I said earlier, Joey has the chops, but that strategy call was brilliant and just happened to work out.

One of four drivers is now locked in and has the huge advantage of being able to prepare their car for Championship Sunday in Phoenix November 10.

Who’s gonna join him?

McLeod to race in 2025

The Racing Experts

B.J. McLeod plans to continue part-time racing in his No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports entry in NASCAR‘s top series in 2025 and beyond.

I like B.J. McLeod. I love speedway racing and B.J. seems to love them too. Heck, the man lead laps at the Daytona 500 this year.

I’d love to see him win one. 😃

Kligerman was robbed

NASCAR

“I just felt like that was a poetic — if I could just do one thing, it would have been winning this damn race in that fashion, holding off some of the best in the world in SVG (Shane van Gisbergen), and AJ (Allmendinger), Sam Mayer, who’s a Roval master now. I thought I was driving at the highest level I’ve ever driven, and I didn’t get it done.”

How can you not like Parker Kligerman? He seems like a great guy. He’s a great reporter, well spoken, and can drive a race car better than 99.99999% of people in the world.

Parker was ripped off. We all know how yellow flags can affect the outcomes of races and Saturday was proof of that. It almost feels like NASCAR did it on purpose.

If only they’d waited two seconds longer.
